While we weren’t shocked to love Matt Reeves’ “The Batman,” we were delighted to see Colin Farrell get such a celebrated turn as notorous Rogue’s Gallery member, The Penguin. This version was certainly more grounded than Tim Burton’s version played by Danny DiVito (which we love without a single measure of irony). The 8-episode series stars Farrell, Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, Carmen Ejogo, François Chau, Theo Rossi, and David H. Holmes. This isn’t the first time, nor the second time, we’ve written the words ” Norman Reedus and Sean Patrick Flanery returning for new ‘The Boondock Saints’ movie.” Back in 2021, there were rumblings Troy Duffy, creator of the original film and it’s sequel, was in process on a third film.
