it appears the much-anticipated new “Stargate” series is no longer moving forward. Martin Gero, who wrote on “Stargate SG1” and “Stargate: Atlantis” was set to showrun.
Sources indicate executives had concerns Gero’s series “would not have broad appeal.”
The project was first announced back in 2022 to wide excitement and support from the large and vocal fanbase.
It’s unclear if the show will be shopped around, or if this is the end of the road.
