Creator Vince Gilligan and actress Rhea Seehorn are reuniting for a new series at Apple TV+. That series will be titled “Pluribus,” and just got a teaser. Already picked up for a second season, “Pluribus” is a genre-bending original in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness. In addition to Seehorn, the series stars Karolina Wydra (“Sneaky Pete”) and Carlos-Manuel Vesga (“The Hijacking of Flight 601”), and guest stars Miriam Shor (“American Fiction”) and Samba Schutte (“Our Flag Means Death”).  It will premiere November 7th, 2025.

The FCC has officially approved the long-gestating merger between Paramount and Skydance. This story is developing… The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on Thursday approved an $8 billion merger agreement between media behemoths Paramount and Skydance, a deal that has been overshadowed for months by President Trump’s lawsuit against CBS News and allegations of bribery by critics of the massive conglomerate. The FCC announced its approval of the megamerger late Thursday, with FCC Chair Brendan Carr saying he welcomed “Skydance’s commitment to make significant changes at the once storied CBS broadcast network.”

Disney+ has announced when season 2 of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” will hit during their kickoff panel at San Diego Comic-Con [SDCC] in Hall H. “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” is based on the popular young adult novels by Rick Riordan, who is VERY involved with the series, and has been nothing but excited and supportive of the project. This just in-Legendary wrestling figure Hulk Hogan has passed away. According to TMZ, who broke the news, Medics were dispatched to the 71-year-old WWE legend’s Clearwater, Florida home early Thursday morning with operators stating it was regarding a “cardiac arrest.”Born Terry Gene Bollea, Hogan grew up in Florida. He was a WWE Hall of Famer who also perused an acting career, earning him the nickname “Hollywood Hogan.” Hogan was 71.
