Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming “The Wheel of Time” adaptation FINALLY has a release date! Based on the massive book series created by Robert Jordan, the 14-novel saga was completed by Brandon Sanderson following Jordan’s death.

During today’s SDCC 2021 panel, this big release news was dropped:

Last month, we were one of the first outlets to break the news that season 1 of the show will have a premiere sometime in 2021, and that cameras were already rolling on season 2! There was also the SURPRISE! of an upcoming planned trilogy of feature films based on “Wheel of Time,” with Zack Stentz hard at work on the script for the first movie, “Age of Legends.”

Needless to say, we seriously cannot WAIT for this show.

We highly suggest you pick up the first “The Wheel of Time” book, ‘Eye of the World‘, now.
