We are so delighted to report that as of this morning, cameras are rolling on season 2 of Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming “The Wheel of Time!” We haven’t even gotten a teaser trailer yet, but Amazon is so sure of the magic of the live action series based on Robert Jordan‘s work (later completed by Brandon Sanderson following Jordan’s death).

Last month, we were one of the first outlets to break the news that season 1 of the show will have a premiere sometime in 2021. Shortly thereafter, Amazon confirmed a San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) At Home panel for “Wheel of Time” is on the schedule, with showrunner Rafe Judkins. This is our bet for when a teaser or possibly full trailer may arrive!

There was also the SURPRISE! of an upcoming planned trilogy of feature films based on “Wheel of Time,” with Zack Stentz hard at work on the script for the first movie, “Age of Legends.”

And the wheel keeps weaving… Filming for Season 2 of our series kicks off today! #TheWheelofTime pic.twitter.com/Dpj26qabMW

Needless to say, we seriously cannot WAIT for this show.

We highly suggest you pick up the first “The Wheel of Time” book, ‘Eye of the World‘, now.
