Sony’s upcoming live-action adaptation of He-Man may have just found their lead in Noah Centineo.

According to Variety, Centineo is currently “in talks” to star as Prince Adam/He-Man in the Adam and Aaron Nee-directed feature.

Centineo previously appeared in television series including The Fosters, T@gged, and Good Trouble. Perhaps you recall him from the Netflix film To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before (which is getting a sequel), and you’ll see him next in the Charlie’s Angels reboot from director Elizabeth Banks.

The new He-Man film has had a seriously bumpy road- originally David S. Goyer was going to direct the script he wrote, but that didn’t end up happening. Most recently, it was Art Marcum and Matt Holloway being brought on to write the script, with the Nee Brothers stepping in to direct.
