2019 may be the year Sony Pictures moves forward with their long-in-the-works He-Man And The Masters of the Universe movie. Long in development hell, the Sony-Mattel film has lost and gained as many directors as the ill-fated The Crow reboot.

Sony Pictures 'He-Man' Film Gets Two New Writers

According to our friends over at Collider, Sony has revealed that the pair behind Marvel Studios’ Iron Man Art Marcum and Matt Holloway to write a new script for the film.

Last we heard about this project, David S. Goyer had stepped in (and then stepped out) of directing the feature from a script he co-penned with Aaron and Adam Nee, leaving the Nee siblings to become the project’s directors.
