This just in- shocking no one paying attention to the world-wide box office recently, it should come as zero surprise that Disney is already at work on a sequel to the recent and highly successful live-action “Lilo & Stitch.” While some Disney purists didn’t like the major story changes of the film, the nearly $1 billion global take ($920 million at the time of this writing) says a lot. This just in-legendary writer Aaron Sorkin is apparently working on a new chapter for his Oscar-winning film, “The Social Network” for Sony Pictures. While not a straight sequel, this project will reportedly be a “continuation” of the world of Facebook following the end of the first film. As you may have guessed, “Jaws” is one of our favorite movies around here. June 20th actually marks the 50th anniversary of the first blockbuster releasing.
