We’re pretty excited for “Free Guy,” and the first trailer for this science fiction action comedy film perfectly showcases why. Shawn Levy (“Stranger Things“) directs from a screenplay by Matt Lieberman (“The Christmas Chronicles“) and Zak Penn (“Ready Player One”), and a story by Lieberman.

The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer (“Killing Eve“), Joe Keery (“Stranger Things“), Lil Rel Howery (“Get Out,” “Tag“), Utkarsh Ambudkar (“The Mindy Project,” “Pitch Perfect“), and the one and only Taika Waititi (“What We Do In The Shadows,” “Jojo Rabbit“).
