    “Star Trek- Beyond”: Idris Elba Joins Cast

    And here we thought all the casting news was over after SDCC!  It would appear that the man rumored to take up the mantel of James Bond after Daniel Craig is done with his fifth film (which would be whatever title after Spectre), Mr. Idris Elba, is joining the cast of the 3rd film in the rebooted Star Trek franchise.

    Star Trek: Beyond has partnered with charity foundation Omaze to raise money with one lucky donor and a friend winning a walk-on role in the Justin Lin-directed ST: Beyond. Six more winners will get flown out for a behind-the-scenes look at the movie.
