Warner Bros. Releases ‘Westworld’ Mobile Game – You Are in Control

These violent tv shows have violent mobile games — or at least Westworld does. Announced officially just this past weekend, Warner Bros. has dropped a mobile game where players can “be in control” of their own version of Delos’s western Park.

Users play as a newly hired Delos employee who’s been granted access to the Delos Park Training Simulation. Players are in charge of building the park from the ground up — upgrading/detailing hosts, learning what the guests REALLY want, etc.

The game only covers Westworld season 1 thus far, so no fear of season 2 spoilers (until the next update, maybe).

It’s not even the only Delos-centric “game” to release this week, as there is an Alexa one, too.

Featuring Jeffrey Wright playing Bernard and Angela Sarafyan (Clementine), The Maze is a VR experience which runs on a simple chatbot, AR, and VR project (and that life-size replica of Sweetwater complete with actors fully in character built for South by Southwest).

Those who have an Alexa-enabled device and download The Maze skill will start their adventure by saying, “Alexa, open Westworld” before venturing into the show’s world as an unnamed  host – as the humanoid AIs in the show are called. They’ll be tasked with answering questions about the show, and trying to advance through three levels of increasing difficulty.

The mobil game is available right now in both the App Store and Google Play.

Westworld season 2 finale airs this Sunday on HBO.
