It’s been a long, strange road for the feature film adaptation of popular video game series “Uncharted,” and we are very pleased to share the first image from the flick. Featuring Tom Holland as “Uncharted” protagonist Nathan Drake, this first photo certainly harkens to the look and feel of the character, as well as the franchise.

Nolan North, who voiced Nathan Drake in the games, also shared some images from the set:

Like looking into a mirror! Proud to have @TomHolland1996 continuing the Drake legacy! Absolutely smashing it!

Sounds like the production is continuing, even after Antonio Banderas had to take a leave of absence after contracting Covid-19.

Sony has optimistically dated “Uncharted” for a July 16th, 2021 release.
