    “True Detective”: Colin Farrell Joins Season 2

    After much debate and fancasting, it looks like Colin Farrell will be joining the cast of HBO’s award winning series True Detective for it’s sophomore season.

    Farrell told Irish newspaper Sunday World:  “I know it will be eight episodes and take around four or five months to shoot.  I know very little about it, but we’re shooting in the environs of Los Angeles which is great. It means I get to stay at home and see the kids.”

    While this still hasn’t been confirmed by HBO officially, pretty sure this is one of those times it’s not rumor mill.
