The upcoming animated film from Universal Pictures and Illumination about the most popular video game brothers ever getting a new release date. Okay sure, it’s not like….SUPER different, but its a change. Originally, “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” was double jumping into theaters on April 7th.
Starring Chris Pratt and Charlie Day as Mario and Luigi, the film also features Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, Keegan-Michael Key as Toad, and Jack Black as Bowser.
Now, it’s super-starring it’s way to an April 5th opening. So….yeah. Easer, rather than Good Friday.
