It looks like Aussie Liam McIntyre (who is awesome, and one of the nicest guys I’ve had the pleasure to interview) is moving to Central City!  The CW’s newest DC Comics tv show The Flash will be acquiring Liam for two episodes this season.

Variety is reporting that Spartacus alum McIntyre has signed on to play  Mark Mardon, The Weather Wizard, and brother to Clyde (Chad Rook) — who was the first meta to tangle with the Flash (Grant Gustin) in the series premiere.  The character of Mark shares his brother’s ability to control the weather, and will be introduced in episode 15 of the first season.  He will stick around for at least two episodes sources report.

I’m looking for my video interview with Liam from DragonCon 2013, I’ll probably toss that up soon.

The Flash returns Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. on the CW Network.
