When Agatha Christy first published “Death on the Nile” in 1937, it was another of her successful and popular whodunits.…

Yes, perhaps we used the term ‘live-action’ to remind the House of Mouse what that actually means in the wake of such films as Jungle Book, and The Lion King. That said, Kenneth Branagh’s upcoming film adaptation of the Eoin Colfer-authored children’s adventure story dropped their first trailer today. The film will follow title character Artemis Fowl, 12-year-old […]
It’s been a Stratford second since Kenneth Branagh has done Shakespeare in film form, and Sony Classics has just bought his directorial (and starring) return to the Bard, All Is True. In classic Branagh fashion, the film was directed by and will star the Brit as William Shakespeare, but this isn’t a story you’ve seen before. Apparently, All […]
If you never read a single Agatha Christie story or know who Hercule Poirot is, you probably have little to no interest in Murder On The Orient Express. Sorry that sounds kind of terrible, but it’s the first thing that’s popped in my head after leaving the theater. This certainly won’t be for everyone, but those […]
In a world of modern detectives, why NOT return to the classics with Hercule Poirot, the hero behind the classic Agatha Christie novel ‘Murder On The Orient Express’? 20th Century Fox is revisiting the beloved whodunnit tale in a film releasing later this year, and the first trailer released this morning. Trailer: The film follows […]

In Frozen Fever, it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but […]

We’ve known about this for some time, but we finally have a small teaser of what we can expect to see in 2015: As far as the cast goes, we’ll have Helena Bonham Carter as the Fairy Godmother, Lily James as Cinderella, Cate Blanchett […]
We love Kenneth Branagh. A lot. Whether it’s his mastery of all things Shakespeare, his take on Thor, Frankenstein, or Gilderoy Lockheart, he is a character unlike anyother. His newest film should be interesting. A live action version of the Disney classic, Cinderella set to open in March of 2015. Here is the first official teaser trailer for it:
