In an ironic twist, HBO has had a documentary titled Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds focused on the mother/daughter duo waiting on the shelf since premiering it back at Cannes. It had been intended to be premiered in March, but in light of their passing, HBO has decided to move the date up to January 7th at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

With few details yet available, Star Trek and Star Wars producer J.J. Abrams will be getting even more busy as he adds another series to his roster (he’s already Executive Producer for Westworld and Roadies). HBO says that Glare will be an hourlong space drama about the colonization of another planet. So far that’s all […]
Westworld is not a film we were expecting to get a remake anytime soon. 1973’s feature marked the first time author Michael Crichton directed, more importantly directed an adaptation based on one of his works. Maybe you’ve heard this one before- company with a grand vision creates an amusement park with GRAND scale attractions and thinks […]
What can I say about HISTORY’s Vikings that I haven’t already stated 10,000 times? The series’ double length 4th season has just about everything I look for in my television dramas, with the added bonus of being better episode-for-episode than it’s big budget cousin, Game of Thrones. The most recent episode of Vikings “The Profit and The Loss“, […]
Attention all Game of Thrones fans! The premiere date for season six is slowly crawling closer, like the encroaching army of Others from the wilderness Beyond the Wall. Historically, my reviews of the series are heavily bent on comparisons from the book, and some of the changes to the tv series have been really awesome. Others…..not so […]
What is dead may never die, but rises again. How much impact will this statement have for the upcoming season of HBO’s hit Game of Thrones? This brand new RED BAND trailer for the series just released, and well? Shit’s getting real: https://youtu.be/CuH3tJPiP-U Game of Thrones will be returning April 24th, 2016.
Hooooooly crap. Other than the very first trailer for HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, this may be my favorite promo thing the show has put out. This is the ‘teaser’ trailer for season 6, and it features some cameos of note. If you know about the Hall of Faces, you know the disciples are able […]
HBO released these 3 teasers last week, not offering any new footage (boo) but asking the ever important question in Westeros, “Who’s House Are You With?” Are you with the Lions of House Lannister? “Together we can overthrow an empire.”#GoTSeason6 premieres 4.24.16 #GameofThroneshttps://t.co/YAV9Uo3S3W — Game Of Thrones (@GameOfThrones) January 22, 2016 And for my money? […]
Oh man. I’m not sure if I should be excited or not, considering how much season 5 of HBO’s hit Game Of Thrones let me down from a writing perspective. Sure, I know the show was going to divert from the books as we know them, we were all expecting that. Most of my complaints were […]
As shocking as that headline might be if you have watched the finale for season 5 of HBO’s Game Of Thrones, the promo doesn’t lie. Be prepared for possible spoilers, as I’m assuming anyone reading this has actually caught up on the show. If you recall, at the end of season 5, Jon Snow suffered a […]
