“Game of Thrones”: s6 New Teaser

Hooooooly crap.  Other than the very first trailer for HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, this may be my favorite promo thing the show has put out.

This is the ‘teaser’ trailer for season 6, and it features some cameos of note.  If you know about the Hall of Faces, you know the disciples are able to take a likeness and wear it as a mask.  Think that line from The Doors’ “The End”: he took a face from the ancient gallery, and he walked on down the hall.

BUT- the faces are all collected from the dead, as far as we know in the mythology.  There are both dead and live characters seen here though, and it leaves the ending of season 5 with Jon Snow’s Caesar moment wiiiiiide open (like Cersei!) for possible R’hllor magic.

Game of Thrones is set to return to HBO on April 24th, 2016.
