    David Ayer has been keeping us well informed about his upcoming comic film based on the DC comics Suicide Squad.  Our first look at Oscar winning actor Jared Leto as the Joker came from Ayer’s twitter, as did today’s special image.

    This image sums up what I was afraid of, the first cinematic version of Harley Quinn would be the “New 52” version of her. I like Margot Robbie though, so who knows. The rest of the cast includes Will Smith as Deadshot, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress. Viola Davis will play Amanda Waller.

    Suicide Squad is set to be released in movie theaters on August 5, 2016.
