Straight from The Devil Himself: Is “Constantine 2” Happening?!

It’s been 15 years since Keanu Reeves delved into the comic book character of demon hunter John Constantine in Francis Lawrence‘s “Constantine” film, and maybe it’s high time for that long-rumored sequel.

If you’ll recall, during the anniversary panel for the film during SDCC at home 2020, Lawrence and Reeves both spoke to the likelihood of a second film, as well as their interest level (which was surprisingly high).

But, things being what they are, and with Matt Ryan‘s brilliant portrayal of John Constantine on The CW’s DC Comics shows, we weren’t expecting anything to happen.

That said, a new post on actor Peter Stormare‘s official Instagram has us scratching our heads. The post features an image of Stormare as The Devil (named Lou) from “Constantine,” with the simple caption “sequel in the works.”

This is a pretty big leap, but as so often happens, The Devil’s in the details.

We’ll let you know what we hear.
