A new “Star Wars” record has been set. Just a few minutes ago, an X-Wing miniature, Red Leader to be precise, sold at auction for $1.9 million. With buyer’s premium included, the final price tag is actually $2.3 million! It was originally expected to sell for $500,000-$1,000,000. This is a screen matched piece, used in “Star Wars Episode IV- A New Hope” in 1977.
You can see the listing from Propstore here.
It now holds the record for the highest-value piece of memorabilia sold from the films.
