    Star Wars VII: Simon Pegg?

We’re still pretty deep in the unknown when it comes to J.J. Abram’s upcoming Star Wars: VII, but the rumormill surrounding it seems to be growing every day.  (Yes, I know the cover image is of the Vulcan ‘Live Long And Prosper’ symbolic hand gesture.)

The big ‘could be’ quote of the day comes from GeekTyrant, and contains a snipit from IGN Middle East, stating that Simon Pegg was spotted on Star Wars set in the Abu Dhabi desert recently, and that his presence means he might be joining the cast.  This would of course mean Pegg would be the first Trek-to-Wars jumping actor of the new series(es).

He might have just been there to visit his pals, considering Simon’s previous quote about “Not thinking it appropriate for me to be in it”.   We’ll let you know if anything comes from this.
