Things are unclear regarding the state of the previously announced/somewhat confirmed Star Wars spinoff films, that were reportedly going to follow everyone’s favorite Mandalorian Boba Fett and Obi Wan Kenobi, respectively. While we still don’t know what the actual status of those pictures may be, a production designer for the galaxy far far away did have some interesting information about that famous planet with two suns playing a part in at least one of the films.

Production Designer Neil Lamont recently chatted with CinemaBlend, and offered this tidbit of information about the unnamed Star Wars spinoff film he was working on:

We were just starting our work on another Star Wars spin-off and yeah. We were actually just making our mark on Tatooine — which would have been interesting and some other new galaxies. So hopefully, if that comes back, we’ll get the chance to be able to do that further.

Lamont has been with the franchise since his assistant days on Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, as well as serving as production designer on both Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

We’re still kind of hoping one or both of the previously rumored stand alone films will happen, Ewan McGregor continues to be NO HELP in confirming or denying the likelihood of his return to the Force fold.

We’ll let you know when we learn anything else about the possible solo films, and/or the upcoming new Star Wars properties we’re getting for both Disney’s streaming service and Rian Johnson‘s all-new trilogy.
