Disney+ UK has confirmed several release windows for upcoming projects on their streaming platform. The House of Mouse announced in a rather thorough press release, several series and specials coming in 2024. Among these are the highly anticipated new “Star Wars” titles, “The Acolyte,” and “Skeleton Crew.”

As listed in the press release:

    LUCASFILM

“Star Wars: The Acolyte” will premiere on Disney+ in 2024. The series is a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era. A former Padawan reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes, but the forces they confront are more sinister than they ever anticipated.

“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” tells the story of four kids who find themselves lost in the vastness of the galaxy trying to find their way home. This series will arrive on the platform in 2024.

Tom Holland “Spider-Man” trilogy helmer Jon Watts directs the project, which reportedly takes place “several years” after “Star Wars Episode IV: Return of the Jedi,” and paralell to “The Mandalorian.” Jude Law stars as a Force-wielder character, along with a cast of children who will take viewers on a coming-of-age journey similar to those of Amblin Entertainment.
