Did you catch the return of HISTORY’s Vikings last night? The back half of season 5 (nicknamed season 5b) premiered, and “The Revelation” did not disappoint.

Things picked up directly after the loss of Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) to Ivar (Alex Høgh Andersen), and the aftermath of Björn (Alexander Ludwig), Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith), Torvi (Georgia Hirst), and Bishop Heahmund (Jonathan Rhys Meyers) needing to vacate Katteagat.  The episode ALSO saw the return of one Duke of Normandy, Rollo (Clive Standen), and an update on where-in-the-world Floki (Gustaf Skårsgard) and his colonists are.

We have an interview with Clive Standen coming up later today, so keep an eye out for that.

In the meantime, check out the sneak peek for next week’s season 5 episode 12, “Murder Most Foul”:

Bjorn, Lagertha and Ubbe face an uncertain fate as Heahmund’s loyalty is tested; Floki fights to understand the will of the gods in Iceland; Ivar may have met his match in Kattegat.

Norsemen old and new, thanks for reuniting in Kattegat last night! ⚔️ Here’s a look at next weeks’ episode of #Vikings, Wednesday at 9/8c on @HISTORY. pic.twitter.com/elBlU7oN0p
