    “Shrek 5” Gets Poster, 2026 Release Date

    Ah yes, “Shrek.” The cultural touchstone that won’t sink quietly back into the swamp. If you love it, more power to you. Maybe I’ve seen it far too many times to care about it. But, I can’t ignore how many people will be excited to know that a 5th film is on the way.

    DreamWorks Animation just released an official poster and release date for “Shrek 5.”

    DreamWorks also announced that the original cast of Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz will return.

    It hits theaters July 1st, 2026. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
