This is such a good Spooky Season rumor, we honesty kind of hope it’s a real one. According to the usual sources, Tim Burton is currently shopping around a new live-action tv project to various studios, and it’s one our little black gothic hearts can’t get over- “The Addams Family!”

Talk about a perfect project for the perfect filmmaker, right?

Sources close to Deadline say that at present, there really isn’t any one studio favored for this possible show, but who would say no to this?

No confirmations on if this is even a thing, but knowing Burton’s style and personal love of the source material, we wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if this happens sometime soon.

Who would you want to see play new live-action versions of Mortitia and Gomez Addams?
