If there’s one thing we love around here aside from “Dune,” its auctions of memorabilia. We can’t really explain why, but you have to admit, seeing pieces of Hollywood and cinema history- the ACTUAL pieces- is pretty cool. Every so often, there’s something that comes to the block that is without measure. Such is the upcoming listing for Propstore‘s June Entertainment Memorabilia auction.

We’re speaking of course about the late, great Carrie Fisher‘s iconic Ceremonial Dress from “Star Wars: Episode IV- A New Hope.” Talk about a piece of history! This is believed to be the ONLY surviving complete piece of Fisher’s wardrobe from the film.

The catalog for the auction with all the details (and photos) just went live today. The garment, lot 404, is listed as a “screen-matched.”

It’s currently estimated to fetch upwards of $2 million. The auction is set to take place June 28th-30th in Los Angeles, CA.
