We’re learning a bit more about Disney’s upcoming 5th film in the hugely popular “Captain Jack Sparrow Saga”….oh, that’s NOT what it’s called?  Ok, fine.

The 5th film in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise will be called “Dead Men Tell No Tales“.  It is due out sometime in 2017, and apparently, Disney is still casting parts.
Adam Brown, Delroy Atkinson and Danny Kirrane have just been named as piratical additions to the crew.  Javier Bardem and Brenton Thwaites are also on board.

Johnny Depp is set to return as Captain Jack, Orlando Bloom is rumored to also be returning as Will Turner, no word on Keira Knightley yet.  Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg directing. Jerry Bruckheimer is producing.

Pre-production is already under way in Australia, and we’re expecting some kind of update from Disney in coming months.
