The long-gestating “John Wick” prequel series “The Continential” is still happening. But, it’s moving homes. Originally being developed by Lionsgate for STARZ, the show is apparently going to bow on NBC Universal’s streaming service, Peacock.

“The Continental” will star Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott, the role played by Ian McShane in the “John Wick” franchise. With a story taking place in New York in 1975, the series will detail Winston’s rise of control of the assassin underworld’s most iconic hotel.

Two other big pieces of news about the series are that it’ll only be 3 episodes, making it a limited series ‘event.’ And, it’s expected to hit Peacock sometime in 2023.

We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other news.
