Not really surprising, but word came down this morning that streaming service giant Netflix has indeed officially ordered a third season of perennial favorite Stranger Things. Very rarely does a show permeate the social consciousness quite like it has after two seasons; fans are many and vocal.

Should we make another season of Stranger Things?

Set in the 1980s, the coming-of-age sci-fi horror drama shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.  Stranger Things received 18 Emmy nominations and won five during the 2017 awards show.

No word yet on who from the set cast is returning for season three, but here’s hoping we’ll get more. The series stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapp as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, and Sadie Sink as Max.

Stranger Things seasons one and two are available for streaming on Netflix right now.
