    Netflix Goes Classic: ‘Rebecca’ Adaptation Starring Lily James, Armie Hammer

    It would appear that Netflix is going to expand their ever-growing slate of films with a classic adaptation- Daphne du Maurier‘s “Rebecca”.

    It’s been awhile since the last time the tome was successfully brought to the big screen, and the streaming service/studio is bringing in some modern heavy hitters to star. Lily James and Armie Hammer will be playing the leads.

    If you are unfamiliar with the story; a newly married couple are trying to build their lives together, but with a looming shadow of a deceased wife following them throughout the incredible house.

    While we don’t know much about the proposed production yet, we’re interested to see how it turns out.
