    Netflix Announces Tim Burton’s Addams Family Project, “Wednesday!”

    This just in, we finally know what Tim Burton‘s “Addams Family” project is happening over at Netflix! Announced today, check out the first bit of art for live-action series “Wednesday!”

    From the official announcement, we can see that Burton will be directing the live-action series for Netflix. It’ll be 8 episodes, and there was even a logline released:

    The upcoming eight-episode series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday’s years as a student at the peculiar Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago – all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships of the strange and diverse student body.



    We’re all kinda hoping it’ll be Christina Ricci back in the role of Wednesday Addams, right? RIGHT?!
