The interwebs were abuzz today with the rumors of funnyman Robin Williams in talks to become a woman again! Ok, well, a man pretending to be a woman.
In 1993, audiences experienced the comedic and at times heartbreaking realities of a family going through the pain of divorce, and the lengths a man would go to in order to keep his children. Some of my personal favorite one liners come from Mrs. Doubtfire! And let’s not forget Pierce “2 More Years Til Goldeneye” Brosnan in his swimshorts getting pelted in the back of the head with a lime. GOOD WASTE OF JUICE!
Why is this news? Well, several sources have reported the long awaited (really?) sequel is in development right now, even though it’s been looked at as recently as 2001 with it’s script to be penned by comedian Bonnie Hunt. The writer attached NOW is David Berenbaum, screenwriter of Elf.
I dunno about you guys, but I’d much rather have Robin and Bonnie get back together for a GOOD Jumanji sequel. THAT’D be worth the price of admission.
