Fans of sitcom “FRIENDS” are still reeling from the sudden loss of author and Chandler Bing actor, Matthew Perry. Hollywood was quick to offer thoughts of sympathy to Perry’s family and friends. We even got a short statement from the rest of the show’s cast. Completely understandably, it felt very designed-by-comittee. It was safe, it was publicist approved.

This morning, Matt LeBlanc who played Chandler’s roommate Joey Tribbiani, posted his own statement.

Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry “FRIENDS” NBC Universal, MAX

    Matthew
It is with a heavy heart I say goodbye. The times we had together are honestly among the favorite times of my life.
It was an honor to share the stage with you and to call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I’ll never forget you. Never.
Spread your wings and fly brother you’re finally free. Much love.
And I guess you’re keeping the 20 bucks you owe me.

You can catch all of “FRIENDS” on MAX.
