    Marvel Cinematic Universe Gains Fillion

    EDITORS EDIT: We know that Nathan is not playing Nova, now.  Thanks to the two mentioned sites for their clickbait, I guess.

    It looks like Nathan Fillion will play Richard Rider in this summer’s Guardians Of The Galaxy as Richard Rider or “Nova“.  Multiple sources are reporting this, including Unleash The Fanboy, The Escapist, and a quote waaaay back in April about appearing post-credits that io9 ran.

    As far as we know right now, it appears the role will be small, possibly only as part of the easter egg after the credits.  We’re very much looking forward to the former Captain Tightpants being a part of the Marvel Cinematic universe as a live-action hero character.
