What a strange time we live in where Marshall Mathers, the man behind Eminem, can tweet mere seconds of a song set to an animated graphic, and we know instantly what it means. It would appear that Eminem is indeed creating a song for the Tom Hardy-starring Venom film coming soon from Sony.

Ludwig Göransson is actually composing the film’s score, but a theme song (which literally says “VENOM!”) from Eminem would certainly be an interesting touch, to say the least.

We’re still hopeful that the film may surprise us in a good way.

Venom is set to hit theaters on October 5th, 2018.
