From the guys that brought you such amazingly well thought out productions such as Sharknado, Sharknado 2, everything on this list, and Big Ass Spiders…..(if that doesn’t get your little B movie heart pumping like an Optic Nerve build, you might want to read something else) SyFy will bring us LAVALANTULA!

….which is pretty much exactly what you think it is.  The film will take place in the Santa Monica Mountains, where a set of ancient volcanoes erupt and spew out a bunch of giant tarantulas that breathe lava.  So, in other words, a WHOLE LOTTA NOPE.  But let’s look at the cast complied.  Steve Guttenberg and two of his Police Academy co-stars, Leslie Easterbrook and Michael Winslow.  So this means we’ll have Hightower, fighting giant lava spitting spiders.

Mike Mendez who directed and stared in last year’s award winning B-Movie Big Ass Spiders is helming Lavantula.

She also produces award-winning immersive events, including Wasteland Weekend and Neotropolis.
