Ok sure, maybe Korn isn’t a band you think of often, but Johnathan Davis and co just released a cover of the late great Charlie Daniels‘ tune, “The Devil Went Down To Georgia,” and you’ve got to hear it.

Apparently the track was actually recorded last year, for the 2019 release “The Nothing.” But, as we all know, Daniels passed away earlier this month on July 6th.

The Korn cover features guest vocalist rapper Yelawolf.

All proceeds from this song will benefit the nonprofit organization Awakening Youth, a nonprofit organization that seeks to uplift at-risk youth in the wake of losing a parent to divorce, addiction, death, or other reasons.

The song will set you back a mere $2, and we think that’s a perfectly reasonable amount for this.

You can purchase Korn’s “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” on their Bandcamp here.
