Amazon Prime Video just released the full-length trailer for the upcoming film “Coming 2 America.” The much-anticipated sequel stars Eddie Murphy and Arsenio Hall as their characters Prince (now King!) Akeem and Semmi from the 1988 John Landis-directed comedy.

“Set in the lush and royal country of Zamunda, newly-crowned King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi (Arsenio Hall) embark on an all-new hilarious adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation to the borough of Queens, New York – where it all began.”

Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, KiKi Layne, Shari Headley, Wesley Snipes, and James Earl Jones also star. John Amos, Teyana Taylor, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Paul Bates, Nomzamo Mbatha, and Bella Murphy fill out the rest of the cast.

“Coming 2 America” was directed by Craig Brewer, from a script by Kenya Barris, Barry W. Blaustein, and David Sheffield.

Oscar winning costume designer Ruth E. Carter (who also did the original “Coming to America“) created the iconic looks for the film.
