    “We’re trying to make it look like Star Wars. deep in the middle of heavy lifting to complete it,” Favreau said during the LucasFilm presentation during the Disney+ first look at the Disney Investor’s Day event.

    “Star Wars demands a nod to the history with puppetry and effects and in camera tricks,” he continued, but also made sure the audience understood that breaking-edge technology and video game rendering engines will be in play as well.

    Favreau also revealed the series will be 8 episodes.

    There was a mention of the upcoming Rogue One spinoff as well, which revealed that Alan Tudyk WILL be returning as K2SO alongside Diego Luna as Cassian Andor. Luna is also serving as executive producer on the series, with The Americans Stephen Schiff as showrunner.

    The service will launch on November 12th, 2019. $6.99 a month, or $69.99 annually.
