    Joseph Gordon-Levitt to Play Johnny Carson in Biopic

    it would appear Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be taking on an iconic tv personality role in an upcoming biopic. In many ways, Johnny Carson is still the ultimate in talkshow hosts, and his contribution to late night is incomparable. Gordon-Levitt will reportedly be playing Carson in “King of Late Night.”

    Written by “Deadwood” creator David Milch, the project will be directed by Jay Roach.

    “King of Late Night” is currently at the center of a bidding war from high profile studios and streamers. We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other projects.
