Aquaman director James Wan just confirmed via Twitter the longstanding rumor that the first trailer for the film would be shown during San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) next month.

This confirmation comes after footage for the film was shown during both CinemaCon in Las Vegas in April and CineEurope last week.

The Entertainment Weekly issue that just dropped has some pretty fabulous images within it, giving us a better look at what we can expect from Wan’s film. Excitement remains high for the live-action solo feature film about the king of Atlantis, that’s for sure.

    Also. Atlantians. Riding. SHARKS.

Aquaman comes on the heels of Justice League, which introduced Jason Momoa as the DC Comics character. It is scheduled to splash into theaters on December 21st, 2018.

SDCC takes place July 18th-22nd in San Diego California at the San Diego Convention Center.
