Godzilla fans, do you already know about the Monarch Science website where you can track the whereabouts of King of the Monsters? Okay well if you didn’t know about it, you should check it out here, because it’ll play a big part of this latest monstrous fan-theories.

If you’ve forgotten- Monarch is the company created for the 2014 Legendary Pictures Godzilla reboot, sort of an X-Files type of organization that studies and keeps tabs on the world’s monsters. We learned more about Monarch in 2017’s Kong: Skull Island, their operations and key locations/files on the other creatures.

The Monarch website tracks the locations of Godzilla, and a few stops of the creature have some interesting [possible] meanings.

Such as the stop in the Sea of Okhotsk, which ties into the Toho Godzilla universe as ScreenRant points out. Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah in 1991 has King Ghidorah’s body being discovered in that location, and we know that Ghidorah will be appearing in Godzilla: King of the Monsters, so chances are this stop has some meaning.

That Japanese waters location could also mean we’re getting a new trailer during this week’s Tokyo Comic Con.

Cut to today’s observation from DreadCentral, that a new classified location has popped up on the official map in Scotland. Sure, it could be any other creature, but, maybe it’s good ol’ Nessie, The Loch Ness Monster.

You can explore around the map, some of the locations have “declassified” files on various creatures (like Rhodan).

Godzilla: King of the Monsters will hit theaters on May 31st 2019, with the already-in-production followup to that, Godzilla vs. Kong hitting theaters on May 22nd 2020.
