    This just in-

Henry Cavill himself has confirmed his return to Warner Bros. Pictures as Superman. He announced this with a video posted to his Instagram.

“I wanted to wait til everyone had a chance to see ‘Black Adam’,” he says. He also calls the below image, and his cameo in Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson‘s DCEU film, “a small taste” of what’s to come.

This confirmation comes after years and months of rumors and speculation of Cavill’s return as a the last son of Krypton. The Brit has always been hopeful he’d don the cape again, and we’re so glad he is.

“Black Adam” is currently in theaters now. We’ll let you know what we hear about a likely timeline for another Superman film.
