If you are of a certain age and/or played a lot of Guitar Hero II, chances are you know all about the majesty of Trogdor The Burninator. Maybe he was a man, maybe he was a dragon man, or maybe he was just a dragon. But he was still Trogdor.

A flash cartoon created by Homestarrunner’s Mike and Matt Chapman, the character was first introduced in Strong Bad email #58, “Dragon.” He quickly became a favorite, probably due to the epic song.

Trogdor has now known life as the above video, a computer game, a bonus track on Guitar Hero II, and an official board game. We’re also celebrating his 20th anniversary with a brand new video from Homestarrunner!

“For Trogdor’s 20th birthday, Strong Bad digs up a 30 year old promo for an unreleased Peasant’s Quest game. Do the math!”
