“Game of Thrones” Offshoots “Dunk & Egg,” “Hedge Knight” Ordered

as Warner Bros. Discovery unveiled their new joint streaming service name- MAX- additional projects were announced. There were also some not-surprising-surprises, like the confirmation two previously announced “Game of Thrones” spinoff series were getting greenlit.

“Dunk & Egg,” and “Knight of the Seven Kingdoms: A Hedge Knight” have both been ordered to series.

Author George R.R. Martin will serve on both as a series writer and executive producer.

“Dunk & Egg:” “A century before the events of Game of Thrones, two unlikely heroes wandered Westeros… a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg. We’re still waiting for a possible production start date for the Jon Snow series starring Kit Harrington, “SNOW.”
