We are so heartbroken to bring you the news that comedic icon (LEGEND, all around amazing talent) Fred Willard, has passed away at the age of 86.

This news was first reported by TMZ, who also had a quote from Fred’s daughter, Hope, confirming this very sad news.

“My father passed away very peacefully last night at the fantastic age of 86 years old. He kept moving, working and making us happy until the very end. We loved him so very much. We will miss him forever.”

Willard has been a mainstay across numerous comedic films and television shows, and we will miss him.

Please enjoy this lovely interview with Fred from the Archive of American Television about tv series “Roseanne.”

What role do you immediately think of when you hear his name?
