    This just in-

Apple TV+ has renewed one of our absolute favorite shows for a 5th season! We’ve been talking about “For All Mankind” for a long, long time, and we are DELIGHTED to see it get another season.

A spinoff has also been ordered, called “Star City,” which will tell the same story, but from the Iron Curtain prospective during the first days of the space race to the moon. It will “explore the story from behind the Iron Curtain, showing the lives of the cosmonauts, the engineers, and the intelligence officers embedded among them in the Soviet space program, and the risks they all took to propel humanity forward.” “For All Mankind” creators Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi created this one. Wolpert and Nedivi will serve as showrunners.

“Our fascination with the Soviet space program has grown with every season of ‘For All Mankind,’” Wolpert and Nedivi said about the news. “The more we learned about this secret city in the forests outside Moscow where the Soviet cosmonauts and engineers worked and lived, the more we wanted to tell this story of the other side of the space race. We could not be more excited to continue building out the alternate history universe of ‘For All Mankind’ with our partners at Apple and Sony.”

Seasons 1-4 of “For All Mankind” are available to stream on Apple TV+ now. We’ll let you know what we hear about both season 5, and “Star City.”
