One of our surprise favorite shows on Apple TV+ is “Mythic Quest.” If you haven’t watched it, you are indeed missing out. A more sincere take on the life of creatives and workers in a massive MMO game company, the series has amazing amounts of heart and humor. [Editor’s note: my family and I quote it often.]

After what feels like forever, season 4 is due out in January, and we just got our first look at what’s to come for Ian (Rob McElhenney), Poppy (Charlotte Nicdao), David (David Hornsby), Jo (Jessie Ennis), Brad (Danny Pudi), Dana (Imani Hakim), Rachel (Ashly Burch), and the rest of the team.

Seasons 1-3 are currently streaming on Apple TV+. Season 4 is due to premiere with two episodes January 29th, 2025.

    “Side Quest”

“Side Quest” (FKA “Mere Mortals”), will premiere in March. An expansion of the “Mythic Quest” universe, “Side Quest” explores the lives of employees, players, and fans who are impacted by the game in an anthology format.

The series stars McElhenney, Anna Konkle, Derek Waters (“Drunk History“), William Stanford Davis, Bria Henderson, Rome Flynn, Leonard Robinson, Gary Kraus, Annamarie Kasper, Esai Morales (“Mission: Impossible,” “Mars“), Shalta Grant, and many more in the leading roles across each installment.

“Side Quest” will hit Apple TV+ March 26th, 2025 with all four episodes.

We’ll let you know what else we hear about these and other shows. Stay tuned!
